What Is the RHA Collection?

How Do RHA Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers in the RHA Collection are made with hyaluronic acid, which is a substance found naturally in our bodies. The synthetic hyaluronic acid-based solution is injected into the skin, where it’s able to treat both dynamic and static lines.

There are four different fillers in the RHA Collection. Although the products are similar, they have slightly different formulas and primary uses.

RHA 2 - The RHA 2 filler is a flexible dermal filler used to smooth and plump the facial skin. This filler is excellent for treating mild to moderate wrinkles, including lip lines and nasolabial folds.
RHA 3 - The RHA 3 filler is another filler used to treat mild to moderate lines and wrinkles, specifically around the nose and mouth. This filler also contains lidocaine to help reduce discomfort during the treatment.

What Should I Expect During the Procedure?

If you’d like to try any of the fillers in the RHA Collection, your first step will be a quick consultation with one of our medical providers at North Shore® Cosmetic Surgery. They will evaluate your aesthetic goals to help you choose the ideal treatment for your needs.

The treatment will be performed as an outpatient procedure right at our facility. First, a topical anesthetic will be applied to your skin in the treatment area. Next, your doctor or nurse injector will use a fine needle to inject your chosen RHA filler into the skin. In total, the treatment should only take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete, and you’ll be able to return home immediately.

How Long Is the Recovery Time?

One of the nice things about the RHA Collection is that there is no recovery downtime necessary after being treated with the fillers. Patients can jump right back into their normal routines.

How Long Will It Take To See Results After RHA Filler Treatment?

Typically, it only takes two to three days to see the results from your RHA filler treatment. Depending on which filler you receive, the results can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months.
