LONG ISLAND WOMAN HAS BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY AT NORTH SHORE COSMETIC SURGERY
This law enforcement professional, in her early thirties, came to our office to inquire about breast reduction. She was not only uncomfortable with her size in the esthetic sense; she suffered physically as well. She endured back and shoulder pain and discomfort which affected her work duties. She was anxious to see Dr. Romanelli about her candidacy for the procedure. Upon examination, Dr. Romanelli found her to be an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery. By reducing the size of her breasts and also lifting the skin around them (inherent in all reduction procedures) she would see and feel a nice change in the appearance and weight of her breasts. Of course it goes to follow that her physical problems should only improve with the reduction of pressure on her back and shoulders. The patient was thrilled and surgery was scheduled. The procedure was performed in just under two hours yielding the beautiful results you see here. Dr. Romanelli used a Vertical “Lollipop” incision and no drains were needed. The patient is thrilled and reports a great improvement in how she feels inside and out!
