Patient Story: This patient, following a double mastectomy and breast implant surgery elsewhere, sought Dr. Romanelli’s expertise for breast reconstruction. After a previous revision surgery, which included implant replacement and fat grafting, the patient was ready for nipple areolar reconstruction.

The photos above show the results of her nipple areolar reconstruction, where Dr. Romanelli created custom nipples and areolas to restore a more natural, feminine appearance. The next step in her journey is nipple tattooing, which will restore the natural shade of her nipples, completing her recovery.
